About to make a cup of tea and then relax with a film. Probably a horror film, since it's the time of the year. This afternoon I made brownies with walnuts, so I'll also have a nice treat whilst watching.

I'll retreat into a good police-procedural type murder mystery, though.

I've watched Malevolent on Netflix, which I enjoyed despite its IMDB rating, not super graphic and no jump scares. Now I'm watching The 9th Life of Louis Drax, a mystery thriller, which is interesting so far.

I just took down the United States flag at Student Veterans of UNM and folded it by myself... folded it nicely.

LOL, those two don't scare easily. They aren't afraid of loud, sudden sounds. They're not afraid of the loud steam iron my mother uses, in fact they came running when she started ironing. They might stay back and observe something, such as the floor Swiffer, before getting close.

They aren't allowed outside the living room yet. Beneath the door at the top of the stairs down to the store there's a big gap on one side, they can get underneath it and we don't want them to go down into the store yet. So we first have to make a doorstep to close up that gap. I expect that to happen tomorrow. In the past week I've been kitten proofing my rooms in preparation.

Watching some morning Bundesliga while I get ready to go to my 5th movie since Thursday. I am getting spoiled rotten by our town deciding it needed a film festival.

Deciding whether or not I should watch Doctor Who on my tablet--the colour scheme is out of whack. I can't fix it! It's not too bad... kinda psychedelic.

Trying out my new reading glasses I paid $7 for. There not too bad. There a bit heavy and I think I'm just use to nose pads but other than that they work pretty good.

The new Doctors are fine, but honestly, in many ways, I prefer the OGDW. At the rate that the "new" Doctors were going--Chris Eccleston(e) (sp?), David Tennant, Matt Smith, I was starting to think that the next Doctor would either come out with prepubescent acne or diapers. I mean...c'mon already! Then they decided to give the Doc some gravitas again...(sigh). I do have to admit, I thought Tennant was brilliant in the role.

It's funny how being the Doctor, which used to be a bit like having had a gig in Star Trek (typecast for eternity, just ask Tom Baker), is now sorta like Sherlock/Cumberbatch; instant pop-culture fame. Wild.
