Yes, the Aura that I'm using has Pearl. The Aura Edition 2 has Carta.

That just seems so strange since the Glowlight 3 and Aura Edition 2 use the same screen, but the Glowlight 3 has a higher resolution.

Now if you told me the Clara HD looked better than the Glowlight 3, I could see that (though I've never seen a Clara live).

I see the Aura 2 has an infrared screen (so no capacitive layer to look through), but so does the Nook 3.

Hmm, just red and blue covers. The black cover shows sold out, but no listing for the Clara itself at all.

If you do a Google search for "walmart kobo clara" you can find an "out of stock" page ...

Yep.. out of stock.

I returned mine today, Light bleed that did not seem to bother me... caused headaches. Tried to trade for another but was told they were out of stock not sure when they be in stock. Also get this Mgr of Store says they are NOt going to get the Clara

Only one they are going to carry & have in stock Kobo Aura 2nd ed.

After being Lied to about this No Not surprised... just a bit that they finally admitting they Not going to carry them In Store.

BTW they had 1 in stock I just ordered it.

Hopefully it wont have the light bleed.

I would guess the employee wasn't lying. They just don't have much control over what comes in.

Here's a thought: what if the one in stock is the one you returned?

If I bought a Clara that had the light bleed, I would fix it with the black electrical tape as described in the YouTube video. You shouldn't have to do that. Kobo should have better quality control. But hey, it's an option.

As you may remember, my Glow 3 started deleting my sideloads so I recently bought a Clara HD. The resolution on both is the same, but the orange comfort light is much better on the Glow. The Clara doesn't have as much orange color. It's still good, but not as good as the Glow. That's the only real tradeoff IMO as I found I care less about the page turn buttons than I thought I would.

Yeah, the software on the Glowlight 3 bugs me. But when my better half and I are both reading, I do get jealous of how nice it looks. The amber light is handled very well on it and the screen is crisp.

Sideloading and software in general just isn't as good on the Nook. But when reading that all falls away.
