well, it's a bit hard to translate i think, because we use it in a lot of different ways, but yes, "all the same" is a pretty good translation here...

just a minute, i'll see what the dictionary has to say...

I can't absolutely guarantee it, but think that I could make either date, with a slight preference for the 19th.

I don't mind going to Republique, though the Trotinette was a very nice little place too.

Is the apero still on?

JOY !!!

he means la trottinette when he says république ; it's the next station down, but much larger and better known, so more of a landmark.

i think it's still on, but we haven't had much response yet. some people are busy in april...

Which evening is it likely to be?

Incidentally, the 19th is a Sunday. Did you actually intend that, or is it a typo for the 18th? (The 18th is even better for me.)

yes, i think we should just decide, it makes it easier to organise ; the 18th is fine with me, so if all three of us agree then let's say the 18th. (we should say this in the french thread too).

YGG, would you like to contact Mauro, of the Trottinette ? if not, i can call him. we just need to reserve the evening, and then a few days before confirm approximately how many people will be coming and how many for dinner. let me know.

A March MR Paris apéro. Then one in April. Probably two in May and three or more in June. When will it all end?? Will there be a farewell apéro? Followed by a second and a third and then a resurrection tour?

actually we are hoping to build up steam until it is ALL APERO ALL THE TIME in paris, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 31 days a month (even in february !!).
