Only thing I do not like about the Aura Edition 2 is the keyboard is so small I have a hard time typing. I love love the overdrive. So cool to be able to loan a book from library without having to use a computer. The screen is much more clear and crisp than the kindle or nook

Which Kindle and Nook are you comparing to? Any of the Kindle Paperwhites or Nooks from the past few years have better screens than the Aura Edition 2. That's one of the things it was knocked for at the time of release.

Yeah, I'd say the latest Nook wins for crisp, clear screen.

I feel like overall, Nook's biggest issue is Barnes and Noble's current woes and their lack of attention to the Nook brand. My Glowlight 3 is a lovely device with a very clear screen and even glowlight/nightlight, hampered by lackluster and glitchy software.

Aura original & 2nd ed Only have 212ppi... So its a Huge difference between 212 ppi & 300 ppi of the Clara. |

Didn't know the Glo had 300 ppi... to bad they stopped making them when I was buying my Kobo 2 years ago. I think they stopped making my Aura since I got this on [2 years ago] Cant find any to get a gen price to sell it. With all its extras asking $75 but who knows how low I have to go.

Does the original Aura have a Pearl screen rather than an E-Carta one? It seems like I read that in a comparison article about it and the Tolino Vision (which is extremely similar, hardware-wise).

Has anyone bought a Walmart ebook gift card? Is there tax charged on it? If you buy one is there a service fee, so the actual amount you can spend on ebooks is less than the nominal gift card amount? For example, a $50 card costs $53 dollars, or a $50 card costs $50, but only allows you to buy $47 of ebooks? I have noticed that the price of ebook gift cards for a specific ebook seems to be list price, so if the ebook happens to be on sale, you don't get the discounted price.

The most current. I find the screen quality better than the Oasis and Nook Glowlight 3. Except for the Aura all my devices are the most recent models
