I saw that and was disappointed. I nice alternative, but nothing really that makes it more distinguishable from the Oasis. I was waiting for news on this before getting my first e-reader, but I'm glad I jumped on the Likebook Mars.

I don't care if they got their inspiration of the kindle, I care about specs, is this thing an upgrade from the A1 or not? That'll be the deciding factor for me.

I think this kobo looks better than the Oasis even tho it is a clone. i like the rounded corners and appears to be a uniform size, instead of the wedge or whatever its called, that the oasis has

Yep. Do it like the Voyage and a 7.8" screen, I'm there.

Don't need or use buttons, so make them present, with option to switch off like the Voyage, perfect!

The side with the buttons seems to be elevated/angled on the Forma, so it's not a flat surface either. The question is, is it just angled outward or also fatter on that side.

Got kinda ticked seeing "new Kobo!" literally days after I got my Clara...but meh. I'm happy with what I got. Too bad the announcement wasn't for a Mini 2 though...I'd get that in addition to the Clara.

It really does look like this one is supposed to be Landscape by Default because of the placement of the buttons and logo. The buttons make sense is you keep it in that view.
