thanks for the attachement. the link looks like it's coming from a gmail account, so it would work for you if it's your account and you are logged in, but not for me. the attachement works fine though.

It's definitely looking like a nice device. I'm anxious to see this in more detail as well as the txtr device. Hopefully their 8" device which they specify on their web page won't be too far behind. A nice 8" screen with minimal casing around it and a thin design would be a great replacement for my iLiad.

I did something daffy (you may all laugh now... done... good). I used the contact info (actually it's a little floating email box in the lower right corner of the screen) on the web site to email the company and asking if a unit could be beta tested by MobileRead. I also pointed them to the two threads about the Boox we have here.

I am *very* curious and interested in a hands-on review from a MR member. Who better to review a device for reading ebooks? If anyone else thinks this is a good idea, you may want to drop them a line as well.

What's not to get about daffy4u writing about doing something daffy (a little fun with puns)? Have I "flown" one over your head?

I will but I hope others will put in a request as well. I'm not looking to be the tester. Someone who has played with more devices than me should be the one doing the testing. I suggest Nate the Great since he made us (well me) aware of the Boox device and had a lot of ebook toys.

If I manage to speak with them on the CeBIT, I will try to drop this idea too...
