I see roughly the same here. On Saturday, I went into one of the stores near my home and they only had a Clara HD. But, the cable wasn't supplying power and the battery was flat. I moved a cable connected to of the other tablets and it started but it hadn't been setup. I was told by one of the employees that they were waiting for a rep to come in and set it up. I thought about doing it via my phone, but I really just wanted to see what it felt and looked like*. And then I discovered that they had sold out.

Sunday was a visit to the other local store. They don't have any demo ereaders. They have a rack with covers for Kobo devices and empty boxes for Kindles (don't remember which). But, they did have stock. And somehow I avoided the "Exactly how many ereaders do you need?" question when I got home.

And for anyone buying any electronics from JB HiFi, make sure you ask, "What can you do this for?" They always give at least $10 off Kobo ereaders. In this case, the Clara HD was $162 (listed $179) and the cover was $39 (from $44).

* I'm sure no-one here expected me not to end up with one once I saw it

Wait...are you sure the H202 has a grid? I was told by more than one person it did not. I was about to get one but this is a deal breaker for me no matter how faint. It figures...every model has some deal brekaing defect in my opinion.

I'm sure... but I have to try *really* hard to actually see it.. I think most people with normal or corrected vision would not be able to do so at all. I'm not claiming to have super vision, but I I'm nearsighted and read without glasses, so end up holding the reader very close.

The Aura One and Clara HD ad first Edition H20, by comparison, have clearer/cleaner looking screens. I thin the H20, even second edition, is my favorite of the 3.

Well shit...I will see it and be bothered by it as I hate things like that. There just isn't an E-Reader that hits all my boxes and doesn't have some fatal flaw. So tired of that with tech.
