_English_ was published just prior to Brexit. Maybe there will be an updated edition of that book/audiobook that takes in that event.

I see the dates but I can’t believe that’s right. I had him as a professor in the 80s and I thought he was old then.

I couldn't resist looking and he would have been in his 60s in the 80s. That said, it does seem as if the book in question was published in 2007 when he would have been 85 and it wasn't his last book at that!
