Prolonging the PRS-700

Hey Everyone,

I just got my PRS-700 Reader yesterday and I know of all the various problems that you can have with it, so I want to take all the precautionary measures I can while it's in min condition. I have already protected myself against the dust spot problem by scotch taping around the rim of the touchscreen (I never taped around the buttons, am I supposed to tape there too?) but is there anything else I need to protect myself against.

Have a good one,
Nick

Just some tips on battery care, if you haven't already seen them here.

Be sure to read to the very last post by Andybaby.

Enjoy your reader, I'm liking mine.

Ridiculous that you have to do this...dish out $400 for a reader and then have to plaster scotch tape on it. Not criticizing you Nick my comment is directed towards SONY who supposedly monitors this and other forums.

Agreed, that's $449.00 CA$. (As I'm getting my tape out.)
