Sierra Nevada's Hazy Little Thing IPA.

I know I said I was done trying to like IPAs, but it seems I've somehow managed to develop an affinity for the Juicy, Hazy, New England (whatever you want to call them) variety. Go figure.

Folger's 1850 Black Gold

In my clearly tasteless opinion, these 1850 blends by Folgers are nothing to shake a stick at. I've had the Pioneer (medium roast) and Black Gold (dark roast) in K-cups for work so far.

FWIW, if it's accessible to you, Kirkland Pacific Bold is a pretty decent k-cup coffee. And quite reasonably enough priced for work. It's Costco, so if you're not a member, you end up having to get it via Amazon which brings the price up a bit, but it's still pretty reasonable. Cheaper than my Major Dickason's Blend, certainly.

Or you can buy a refillable K-Cup. My wife recently started drinking coffee (has not ever before), because her office has a Kuerig machine and is always cold. Once she saw how much I was paying for the K-Cups as opposed to the ground I used at home, she wanted to find another way. So I paid $2 USD for a refillable K-Cup. A tiny bit of ground goes in every morning and she brings it home every night.

First tea of the day.

After a long stretch of lightning, thunder and downpours the temperature has dropped to the 70s (°F) and the rain has stopped. For today. It was pretty comfortable on the back deck, except for the mosquitoes, but the sky was too heavily overcast to deliver much sunlight.
