This freebie appears to be a promo for the soon-to-be released "Flight or Fright" anthology (04 Sep) from King and Vincent. That book has 17 short stories and includes this offer. I don't need another Dot, but this price point is where I wonder if I pick up one for $25 anyway. OTOH, I suspect this is to function as an effective clearance price for the Dots before they introduce the new version.

Don't give up on these deals. I've been an on-again, off-again member umpteen times. Sometimes I get these offers and sometimes I don't. This time I lucked out and got the offer. The key thing is I always try and hope for the best.

I do find it strange that they were allowing the deal, yet charged you the full amount. That's never happened to me before.

I remember last time I had to edit my payment details. Maybe it lost the promo after that.
