Mass Merging
I had done a search for this question but was getting all kinds of different answers that do not seem to be right. I have a set of books about 2000 of them I loaded in one day. So I can see the books by doing a show for that day only. I have auto-merge on but for some unknown reason it made single entries for both formats, one Epub and one AZW3. Now I can manually merge them all one by one into a single entry but I was wondering if there was a way to mass do them by selecting all and using some type of Reg Exp to merge only ones with same names into one single named entry? So say out of the 2000 it is split 1000 to 1000 files but separate entries, then merge them all at the same time into their counter part 1000 files leaving that group of books at only a 1000 entries uploaded. (hope that made sense). Any help would be great.

This may spark some interest in a command that can merge all titles that are exactly alike in the programing if there really is no way to do it. Just a suggestion, thou the titles would have to be exact.

find duplicates PI will pair dups visually. Pretty quick to merge each after careful consideration

PI = Plugin
Why don't you read the details of what it can do (This is the Index of PI, you might see others you like.) https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=118764 |
