I was looking for the option that is stored in the conversion preferences to manually edit the toc instead of using the conversion to create it.

It is under the Table of Contents section of the conversion options.

Uncheck "Force use of auto-generated Table of Contents" in the Conversion/Common Options/Table of Contents? This will leave whatever ToC was in the original document in place.

Ok, I think I know the problem.
I can't set in the preferences in common options the manual fine tuning of the TOC. This makes sense. Who needs to have the TOC editor pop up if they are doing batch conversions? I didn't think this through. Last edited by Rellwood; 06-24-2018 at 06:44 PM. |
