First Kobo

Ordered a Kobo Aura One Limited. It is my first Kobo. I have been with Amazon since the very first ereader. I wanted to start breaking a way though. I got Calibre to make all of my thousands of ebooks Kobo compatible. I hope that I don't regret it though because there customer service has not been good so far.

Was it in stock from kobo or is there a delay? I chatted with cs today and they said they don't have the aura one in stock right now.

It was in stock. They just messed up part of the order and then it seemed to go into order Limbo for 5 days and today it finally shipped. The main problem was Kobo never really gave me the same answer 4 days in a row. It was frustrating.

The usual way of preventing this is to order from Chapters Indigo instead, but too late now

I actually looked at Chapters first but I really wanted the limited with the bigger memory because I am going to put a decent amount of manga on it this summer while I travel and Chapters didn't have the limited.

That's since the Aura One LE is only available in Japan and the US. For reasons unknown to us mere mortals, Kobo does not offer the A1LE in Canada.
