I have just ordered a book. I had two options: one-day delivery for an extra $5.95, or free two-day delivery (Sunday). No slow shipping option. That's odd.

It also shows a $5.00 tape measure that gave a 29¢ discount. Maybe slow ship doesn't save enough money and they're trying new things or just not giving it all the time.

The last few times I've ordered, I've been offered the $1 digital credit for no-rush shipping, which I generally take. Before that, it was always the pantry credit, which I have no use for.

Kind of funny, I've been waiting for a pantry credit and haven't gotten one offered in a long while. I ordered a Prime shelf unit today and only had one shipping option. No faster choice, no slower choice. I thought maybe it was because it was a heavy or bulky item. Supposedly it'll be here Sunday.. We'll see.

I know about the subscription option, but a $6 credit against the 7.99 shipping cost makes pantry a decent value for occasional non-subscription use (at least, if the prices are similar to the one time I tried it before).
One thing I can't quite figure out is if they did away with the "fill a box" thing. Is it 7.99 per order no matter if you order one can of soup or a 100 cases of soda?

The last time I saw the pantry credit it was $5.

It looks like you can have multiple boxes for $7.99.

How does Prime Pantry work?

Prime members can pay an additional monthly Prime Pantry membership fee to receive FREE shipping on all orders of $40 or more, or pay a flat $7.99 shipping fee for each order placed. The quantity of items in the order or the number of boxes will not affect the flat $7.99 fee per order.
