It is, it is. To counteract the tendency of Prednisone to leave me wired so I can't sleep. Plus there were idiots on Jeopardy last night, and that requires the calming influence of good single malt.

Today -- coffee, Major Dickason's Blend. Tea, Murchie's Balmoral Blend. Juice, Original Cranberry. And water, faux San Pellegrino.

Ouch! Prednisone is nasty stuff. When I was on it I couldn't sleep either -- and there wasn't enough food in the world.

Yeah, fortunately I'm only on it for a few days. Now it _does_ have some good side-effects -- lots of jobs getting done around the house, I'm just an energizer bunny. (bookpossum, I have no idea if that concept even translates, but it's from an ad campaign in North America).

The part I don't like the most? Fuzzy head. Brain just doesn't seem to be as sharp as it should be.

IAC, mostly water this evening.

I have raging insomnia most nights and coffee after lunch would mean I wouldn't sleep the rest of them. I can't do more than an espresso after noon.

My waker-upper of Starbucks French Roast is hours behind me already.

I'm in a similar situation, but I could possibly have an espresso in the afternoon or evening. I tend to switch to tea, or my faux San Pellegrino.
