Hello,

My M92 display for 'Firmware Version: 1.8 20131204'.

Under Linux, I've used the 'split' command to cut the file in small parts, the 'zip' extension is only to permit the upload, after :

'cat update-20131204_0* > update-20131204.zip'

With the firmware 1.820131204, the multitasking is available with the joined file.

Is there any guide on how to transfer mobi files to be used for max2 boox?
I just puchased a kindle dictionary that I would like to use on my max boox.

Hello Randy,

I tried your file that you have split into 5, but I haven't been able to extract it. I tried on a mac, and on a pc with 7zip and also the built-in solution of win10. A password is requested, could you please share the password, or perhaps send another link with some cloud solutions like onedrive?

Did you try the files in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...postcount=1716
You have to concatenate them before unzipping. In Windows that would be:

Code:

C:\>copy /b update-20131204_0* update-20131204.zip

Obviously I don't know your financial situation or needs, but wouldn't you be happier with a device that's a decade newer?

Thank you! After concatenating, it says to type in the password, could you message it to me?

Yeah, I just try to revive this device before throwing it away. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't.

Well, apparently it is password protected.
I presume that whatever installs this update zip does the unpasswording itself?
I certainly don't have a password.
