I don't know. But, as you are under an embargo, I can only assume you didn't it from Kobo. I think I assumed you got the price in Euros from the Italian site and did a conversion to USD based on how Kobo prices the devices in different countries. $129 would be consistent.

Hmm... not counting the spaces, your NDA phrase required 16 characters including an unneeded n while your embargo phrase required 17. If you changed to "I signed a NDA", even fewer characters are needed and no clarity is lost.

BTW, you hit one of my pet peeves. I tend to reserve embargo for such things as "Iran is under an oil embargo" and not "My parents embargoed me from going to the mall with my friends".

But, I stand by my joking reference to not "officially" knowing about the Clara HD. The keyword was "officially". Kobo has made no official announcement or other statement about the device. No one who is allowed to talk about the device has come out and talked about it. As I said, all the info we have is basically leaks and we have no idea of the accuracy of those leaks. The might be temporary pages/videos with a code name rather than the real name.

And to be pedantic, your blog post said you were under an embargo. It didn't say you were under an embargo about a device called "Clara HD". For all we know, the embargo is about anything related to Kobo releases. Yes, that is a stretch based on what you did say, but, as we don't know what the embargo actually covers, we don't know what you can't talk about.
