Upgrading from US firmware 1.1 to UK 1.2
Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade to the UK stock firmware (1.2.00.18050) using the Universal Flasher?
Has anyone got brief steps on how to accomplish this?

Well, the question should first ask, has anyone extracted the 1.2 firmware from a UK device? Because currently Sony doesn't offer the firmware for download.

To answer your question, yes you can upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2. The only difference is the method for rendering the date. 1.1: mm/dd/yy, 1.2: dd/mm/yy. Use PRS Customizer to make this change...there are instructions on how to do this and where to get version 1.2.

It's really not an upgrade. The only visible difference is the date format: dd/mm/yy for the British firmware, mm/dd/yy or the US firmware.
