Thanks...she's not that tech savy. She's had the thing for almost a year and a half and just now using it. She says she likes the feel of PBooks, but due to a temporary medical issue shes opted to use the ereader (enlarging text as needed) rather than not reading at all.

I have 12 wish lists on Amazon - one for every month of the year, where I save the books I want to buy in the future. For those that are not (yet) on Amazon I keep a spreadsheet with title, author, series, expected date and source of info (author's website, Goodreads,...).

Dang Fire 8 update for hands free Alexa capability knocked out my Kindle app library and clearing the cache in the app and re-synching, re-booting isn't working for me as it has previously. Any other tips besides resetting the device (which I DO NOT want to do. )?

I had a few issues with book 1 and even more issues with book 2, but loved book 3 and overall enjoyed this trilogy.

Her new trilogy, Navy SEAL Cowboys, is set in the same town.
