After three not too bad days, we've begun our decline. The temps today hovered around the freezing point. We started getting our "wintry mix" around 2:00 PM -- it's mostly sleet right now. It's supposed to start snowing tonight and by the time it's finished early Thursday morning we're supposed to get between 12 and 18 inches of wet, heavy snow.

I am seriously bummed out. I've charged up every battery I can think of. I need to drive tonight, so I might try to stop at a store for a last minute stock up.

Not bad, today. The high temperature was about 50º (F) and the sun managed to break through the clouds pretty often.

We've got precipitation forecast for Wednesday and Friday, but temperatures should be in the 40s so it should be rain, not snow.

We have a Suffolk and a Norfolk nearby. You can always tell the out of towers in Tidewater. They always pronounce the "-folk" part of the words as "folk". But we locals know the correct pronunciation of the words and pronounce them just as you Brits do. 😊
