hello everyone!!
I'm new, and I'm killa..
I beg your understanding: I'm italian and it's difficoult for me to write in correct english.
I must say I pratically love ebook and I have lots of them.
I converted some of them in .mobi (.prc) format.
but, when I'm home, I prefear to read them in other format (like . pdf or .html)

can I convert them? can you help me?
i downloaded the abc amber converter, but it doesn't work for most of the file...

It's ok, I like k. not so good kill, but i didnt' notice i was missing an a when I was compiling the blank to register my account.
I don't know yet about whic device I 'll chose. I like kindle, but it doesn't cover italy.(or so i read on amazon)
for now, i'm reading ebbok on my cell phone thought mobipocket, but it's a little unconfortable... I broke the joypad 3 time alredy.
do you have some preference?I'd appreciate some help.

Ciao, killa, have you looked at our E-book_Reader_Matrix before?

If you like the Mobipocket format, then check the Cybook Gen 3 as it is more economical than the iLiad.

I have the eBookwise 1150, which is one of the least expensive devices, but harder to acquire outside North America (but not impossible). It is easy to convert DRM-free .prc/.mobi files for it using my (free) Mobi2IMP conversion software available here.

Which choices are easily available to you, in Italy, right now?

Do you have the prc.py file in the same folder as the mobi2html script?

The @INC variable looked OK and the Util.pm file should be in c:\Perl\MobiPerl. If the file is there i really do not see why it does not find it.

Dude, your using windows. Is there a reason you are not using the .EXE files rather than the .pl scripts?

There are a lot of good reasons for that. One is so you can patch the scripts to fix problems. Another is that you can run the svubversion version. And so on.

Sure, but for someone that just wants to run the thing... the packaged EXEs can make it easier to get started.

Where are those exes anyway? I did download the html2mobi and mobi2mobi (apparently), but can't find an exe for mobi2html...
