We still have some road closures due to fallen trees and power lines from last week's Nor'easter, and we have another Nor'easter due on Wednesday, but right now it's nice out. Temps are in the 40s (F), the wind has died down, and the sun is shining through a few scattered clouds.

The snow is almost all gone now. Just some drifts at the side of the roads slowly melting.

Not a bad day, today. Temps in the high 40s (F) with some sun and clouds.

The snow has just started. by the time it stops on Thursday morning we're expecting 12 to 18 inches.

Yep. It started sleeting a several hours ago, but it's turning to snow, now, and already sticking to the roads. The forecasts are pretty much in agreement that we're going to get an inch of snow per hour through the day.

Despite a forecast of rain, it's been mostly dry and sunny today. The cats have been outside, chasing squirrels. It's still too cold for my liking.

Do your cats play with the squirrels? My cats do. They take turns chasing each other. When the one being chased stops, then so does the chaser. Cute to watch.

Snow, snow, snow and more snow. My electric just went out.

I was lucky it didn't go out last Friday, but hubby wasn't so lucky. He works in Philly and the trains didn't have electric because of a downed tree. He didn't get home until 11:00 pm, but that was better than some that had to spend the night in the building. So he's working from home today. Or not working since the electric went out.

There's a lot of trees around here and with the heavy wet snow trees are probably going to fall. Our electric could be out for days if too many trees come down in the area.

No. I have meant to look into for the past couple of years, but my illness and now my husband's illness gets in the way. Not because of the money, just because of being tired of dealing with stuff.

Now that I think about it, we actually had someone come out years ago, but the guy was an idiot. We wanted to be able to power our whole house including air conditioning when the power went out. His estimate actually had in caps that the generator could power either heat OR air conditioning. Who would be dumb enough to do both at once even if it were possible? Mine can do either or but not both.

I would love to see a video of this! Maybe I could show it to my cat who still after almost two years can't figure out that the other kitty is just playing when he chases her.

My electric is back on! It wasn't supposed to be until midnight. Now I just have to wait for my tech support to see if we can get internet back again.
