Kindle Paperwhite (1st Gen) occasionally screen hang
my Kindle Paperwhite (1st Gen) occasionally screen hang and sometime i have to reboot or till the battery flat and when i charge the battery, it start up and the touch screen working...

firmware 5.6.1.1 latest

don't know how to fix it

Nope, don't think so. That said, as Barbara1955 mentioned, Amazon's running a sale on Kindles right now. You can get a new Paperwhite for $99. I reckon after factoring in shipping, etc, net cost is probably the same as the trade in promo. Besides, Amazon provides the shipping label (UPS drop off) for the trade in so outside US probably won't work.

ilovejedd It Always says that but I done it Several times & others here have also. Always got the Promo & Sales Back in June 2017 my PW3 only cost me $50. Trade-in + Sale price

steven168 Only you know if its worth it, I say it depends on cost of shipping it to US. & having some one in US Promply ship it to Amazon.... Amazon will pay shipping within the US to get it to them. Have the Person in US print the Label
