JS, I'm not sure if you understand links, but the URL shortener that you use in your signature for posting (the link labeled "click HERE") for example, is specifically disallowed by the posting rules of this forum, likely for the same reasons I've specified earlier. That URL shorteners, and yes hotlinks, can disguise for nefarious purposes the actually URL an unsuspecting user might be taken to. I do it because I care for you. And others, truly. <kiss> Proper forum etiquette, as you call it, would be to not have this discussion in this thread at all, but by private messaging, but since you've started it here, I respond. But enough here, please. |

There is nothing wrong with posting a link to BadEReader. Even if you don't post a warning, someone will soon come along and do so. Like in this thread. So please, put back the link and the the thread be as it will be.

I honestly think there is a good market for pocket sized ereaders. I have to have a medium sized purse to take along my ereaders. I imagine this is inconvenient not only for women who use smaller purses but also pretty much most men sans backpacks. I need the larger ereader, but most do not.

I'd love a Mini 2, but not as described. A Pearl Screen? I think not. Carta plus light would be mandatory, as well as a "reasonable" display; if not 300 ppi, no less than about 250. The smaller the screen, the greater the need for acuity. But this is pie in the sky; I doubt the screen would be made.
I never used my Mini much. It was sufficiently bulky in its OEM case that I preferred the sleeker 350 and in fact, the Mini thus encased isn't much smaller than the Glo/Glo HD. But a Mini with a smaller bezel and form-fitting case? I'm not in the market for a new ereader, but I'd make an exception if the display wasn't from the Stone Age. |

Page turn buttons (using issybird's term) are from the stone age. Besides, the software is better on the Kobo than it was on the PB 60.

I would be all over any ereader with a frontlit screen, high res text, and a small form factor. I've tended to use my phone more than anything because of its smaller size, a 5" reader would take over from that.

Kobo doesn't do buttons. So that'll never happen.
