yeah, well, this is only possible because I'm in Vancouver overnight. Otherwise, there's nothing where I am. But I figure since I'm here, I might as well take advantage.

Having spent all afternoon at the doctor's office (somehow today's appointments had been double-booked) I am looking forward to watching tonight's Olympics coverage whilst sipping a few drams of Bruichladdich - I'm getting quite fond of the Classic Laddie too (blue bottle) which I tried when the Port Charlotte as out of stock.

Yes, I quite enjoy the Classic Laddie. It's not peated, but it has that wonderful floral nose of Bruichladdich.

Trader Joe's Spicy Chai tea. The very last of it. I won't be getting more because the carbs are too high, but I will miss it.

Had a big weekend -

8.5 mile city hike Friday
8500m row in Saturday
4.5 mile park hike today

So a lot of water and some homemade recovery drink!
