Amazon.ca Selling Oasis 1
I noticed this morning that amazon.ca is selling the original Oasis with the charge cover, for anyone that wants or prefers the original model.

I was quite surprised to see this.

No thanks, that's way too rich for my blood. And isn't there supposed to be an Oasis 2 or whatever the new one is called? Maybe we'll get that one a couple years after Amazon U.S. gets the Oasis 3 or the next "latest and greatest Kindle" out the door.

Canada has Oasis 2.. slowly last few years we are getting things on time. Just was surprised to see Oasis 1 back in stock slightly.

Myself I use a Paperwhite and voyage so not for me but thought someone oughtta know lol, maybe they want one.

The original Oasis did indeed disappear from both Amazon US and Amazon UK shortly before the announcement of the Oasis 2. It's not showing as available at Amazon UK, so I'd guess this is a case of Amazon CA selling off remaining stock.

The Oasis 1 is not a good value. It's a rather poor value.

This is true. I have an Oasis 1 then a couple of weeks ago received the Oasis 2. I was surprised to see the Oasis 1 when it became available again to still be at a higher price.
