CoolReader for PocketBook HD 2 and Inkpad 3 witn support temperature of backlight
Hello, everyone. I am recompiled latest CoolReader for support of change of temperature of the backlight. It is relevant only to users of PocketBook Touch HD 2 (631 Plus in Russia) and Inkpad 3 (740 in Russia).
The principle is as follows. If you swipe up and down on the right half of the screen, the backlight brightness changes. If you swipe up down on the left side of the screen the backlight temperature changes.
I also changed the extensions.cfg default CoolReader needs to open the files, fb2 and epub. He also replaced the skin for Pocket Book 631 with the skin from dizone (4pda.ru).

Who CoolReader is already installed you can just change the file \system\share\cr3\bin\cr3-pb.app in the book to a file with the same location from the archive.

The 740 is not the Inkpad 3. It is the 740.

Pocketbook referred to the Inkpad2 when it launched the 740, but didn't say it was launching the Inkpad 3.

Lots of people are calling the 740 the Inkpad 3, but that does not mean it is.

As for your second link, the Inkpad 3 reference doesn't say 740 anywhere.

Pocketbook, on the other hand, lists the 740 and the "840 Inkpad 2" on its site in Russia but there is no mention of "740 Inkapd 3".

The previous Inkpad models had nice buttons, while this one has the same fugly and useless buttons found on other Pocketbook models

Hello, it seems his version was updated and much better adapted to the new pocketbook, but i cant download it, i get a 404 issue. can you download it ? its on the same forum you reference

Have some people been able to test the backlight system? Is it even? As good as what Kobo have done? Better?

Thanks, seems like a great ereader, better than tha KA One: ability to install koreader/coolreader easily and to integrate it in the main system, nice lightning... could be a great PDF reader!

I was able to download it just fine.

To install just extract the archive to the root / of the device.
