Cool Reader ver 3 for windows; for books that I don't want to be in Calibre, e.g. light novels.

There are some browser plugins* (usually for Chrome or Firefox) that read epubs. I haven't used them for a while as I now use the viewer in Calibre. * (Or at least they used to). https://www.hongkiat.com/blog/read-e...irefox-chrome/ (I'm pretty sure it was ePubReader that I used to use. |

Fiction Book reader in the Windows store. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/stor...r/9wzdncrdm0s9 Works beautifully. It looks to be a port of FBreader. |

I use Google Play Books (on web) in Firefox; all of the books I read in it are ones that I have uploaded from other sources. I occasionally have issues with chapter breaks, where I have to exit the entire window and open it back up in order to reset it, but it always finds the place where I left off so it's mildly inconvenient. I like that I don't need separate apps to access my epub, kindle, and overdrive books, and once I download them, I don't need to be online either. (I use Chrome for my internet browsing and Firefox for only my online ebook readers, mostly because I don't like my book window to be as wide as my internet window, and keeping them separated means I don't have to constantly adjust it. I don't know if using Chrome would eliminate the end of chapter issues that I have.) |

For some reason, I've never liked reading on my PC. I find it uncomfortable and awkward. I'd rather read a paper book than an ebook on my PC.
