We ended up with about six inches of snow falling overnight after the five hour ice-ball phase yesterday.

We fell about 35 degrees from midnight to 8AM. Afternoon temperatures were in the upper 20s (F) with full sun and not a cloud in the sky, but it was very windy. Wind chill temps were in the mid-teens. The sun has just set and the temperature will be dropping off from here.

Afternoon temps in the 40's F with lots of cold wind ... night time temps bottoming out again into low 20's/teens F

It was below freezing today, which I didn't believe until noon when I went to the car wash (one of those with the high pressure hose that you do yourself) and ended up slipping on ice in the wash area. I didn't fall, but had to be very careful in those parts of the car wash that got no sun.

Nah. The cupboard's getting bare. Had to do a bit of Ubering but needed to wash the car first because all the recent snow and birds didn't leave my Prius looking very presentable. 😉

I understand birds. They do seem to love cars and trucks.

Today we've had a lot of different weather. In the early morning it hailed really hard. Most of the day it has been sunny, but at times it has rained and hailed, though never long. It's also windy and it feels a lot colder than the 5C they say it is. Tonight it can start snowing. Though I expect it to melt away quickly tomorrow morning.

Got up to rain at 6 am ... which washed all the brine off the roads, started snowing around 7 am, falling heavily now .... at least 2" on the deck so far ... predicted to snow until 8 pm or so ... with accumulations of 6-8" ... then temps plunging into the low teens tonight ...

I can host the Winter Olympics on my driveway!

No snow tonight, at least nothing that was left on the ground this morning. It did snow for about a minute this morning, then it turned to hail. Shortly after midnight there was a thunderstorm. With long, loud rumbles that shook the ground. During the day it was mostly cloudy, in the afternoon the sun came through occasionally. At times it either rained or hailed.

It is REALLY coming down out there, isn't it? I'd wager we are close to 3-4 inches so far. And it is not really letting up.
