Hello

I am a senior citizen but one who enjoys all the technology today. Essentially born 20 years to soon. I have Kindle 2 on order and expect delivery in early Mar. I have never really enjoyed the mechanical part of reading books (page markers, holding a four pound hard cover etc) so I'm rally looking forward to ebook especially for periodicals such as the New Yorker. Enjoyed Mobil Read as member the first week Martin

Welcome to MobileRead, Martin.

You'll find lots and lots of us 'mature' (if only in age) members.

Have you downloaded and read the K2's guide? If not, click on my linky. You'll be a pro by the time it comes.

Have you downloaded any of the freebies we have here? Already beautifully formatted for your K2, you will want the mobipocket format. Look up under the blue 'ebooks' tab.

don't be afraid to ask questions....life is good here.......

Oh.........and did you know you can read library books from your library on the K2? See? I told you life was good!

Welcome to MobileRead, Martin. I venture to say that your Kindle is going to have a very positive effect on your life. My preference is to read novels instead of magazines or even short fiction, but whatever you read, the Kindle enhances the experience. It's terribly convenient to just grab your Kindle and go, knowing that you've got several (or even many) choices available when you're ready to read.
