Take Out is the most recent (after a long gap - 1995 to 2017, although Harald has appeared in a couple of Deborah Knott titles) in Margaret Maron's shorter, and, I suspect, lesser known, Sigrid Harald series. It has dropped to $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US.

The Firemaker is the first in the Li Yan/Margaret Campbell series by Peter May. I've read and enjoyed some of May's other books, but have not read anything in this series. Firemaker is a pre-order, but only until tomorrow, and it's $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US right now, which is an okay price, IMO, for a very backlist (1999) title.

That’s $2.99 per book. Decent price but I loved the idea it’d be $2.99 for the whole lot.
