Actually, it's a good thing. It means you no longer have weather. Your climate is now neutral

Anyway, the app is back up. It says our high temp for the day was 13°F and our current temperature is 11°. Last night's low was 5° and tonight's low is forecast to be -6°. The snow has compacted a bit but it's still too "dry" to become icy.

Right now it looks much warmer than it really is. The sun is out and there isn't a cloud in the sky. It was pretty good weather for shoveling snow. My son and I got about half of the driveway done.

Day four and the snow is still on the ground. Major roadways have been cleared, but not the neighborhoods. I just came back from the store. They've restocked since yesterday morning when there were mostly empty shelves, but getting to and from my house to the car was tricky. I used our Corolla. I didn't dare use the Prius; it's much too low to the ground.

We're mostly clear down here now. Dodged a bullet with the rain not arriving to re-freeze the roads as was originally predicted. But the county schools where I am are still closed, I assume due to rural issues. There is still snow on the ground.

We have just now broken our 200+ hour streak of the temperature being at or below freezing.

We finally broke our 14 day streak of weather below freezing, where most of it was below 10F and plenty of it was below 0F too. We hit 33 yesterday, and have a few days of warm before winter comes back (more lightly?) on Friday.

We got to 40°F today and even a couple of degrees warmer yesterday. This breaks our two week run of sub-freezing highs (and occasional sub-zero lows). We might get close to 60° over the weekend, but it's supposed to rain all the way through.

Then we go back to winter.
