How to have two E-ink monitors? one on HDMI, one on USB

Hi, my laptop has only one HDMI port, and it has no VGA port. The HDMI port is already occupied by Dasung Paperlike pro.

Is it possible to have two e-ink monitors as extended displays [not as duplicates], by connecting Boox Max [either Max Carta or Max2] on USB? Has anyone actually tried this with success?
If so, does this two e-ink monitor solution only work with Max Carta [Because Max2 requires a HDMI connection presumably in monitor mode, which wouldn't work in my case since it's already occupied]?

I have a severe dry eye problem and cannot look at LED or LCD displays anymore. Just one e-ink monitor is too small of a visual workspace for a programmer.

Yes. VNC on new desktop instances. You can find some information in the relevant thread.

No. The following misunderstanding makes your question appear as bad logic ("providing WiFi removed the BlueTooth").
For "USB connection to obtain a monitor" I mean the ability to create a network using the USB and running desktop remote software through it.
Even if the "monitor" system was "blitting through the serial" (or whatever other trick), I do not see how this could clash with other hardware and software components implemented by the vendor.

You have personally implemented this with a Boox max AND a dasung paperlike pro? Pardon my suspicions, I thought VNC remote desktop would freeze the local monitors, in this case, the dasung paperlike would be frozen as a local monitor, while the active desktop is located on boox max.
This is not what I want, I want to have two functional and active e-ink monitors simultaneously.

Yes, this is very clear.
No, I do not have a Dasung.

Do you have an Android device?
What you have to do is:
  • set the Dasung as extended;
  • create a remote desktop session to clone the main desktop on the Android device

(or the opposite roles - Dasung as mirroring the main desktop and r.d. creating a desktop extension - if your favourite r.d. solution works better in creating new desktops - e.g. RDP, which I believe cannot clone a main desktop - than mirroring the main one).

Feel invited to post a note if you encounter difficulties in the process.

Then come here and ask: "can anyone try ABCsoft with parameters 3, 50 and 7000 on a Max2 connected to an Atari OS desktop through USB, and report"?

No, it certainly doesn't, not necessarily.
Note that VNC is a technology, with many possible implementations, each can have their glitches, quirks and idiosyncrasies. You should find the one that works best for you.

You can just buy a usb / usb c to hdmi adaptor which will allow you to connect additional monitors

This is very interesting. I wondered "How does it work? Does it work on Linux?" etc.
Apparently it does, although not always: the trick is that the USB dongle emulates a GFX card.
