I have been working a lot of hours. It has been insane. The hours I am not working, I am trying to catch up on housework, laundry, and some relaxing. All I have to say is thank god for 24 hour grocery stores and laundromats.

I am watching Jurassic Park (again). I still love this movie Ten years (or more, I think) and the special effects are still amazing.

I'm defending the Twilight books, the people who read them and their right to do so. Not that I've ever read the books, and I don't plan on doing so; but reading's reading, and I'd sooner see a teen reading a Twilight book than the latest issue of Hot Celeb Gossip BitchFest Daily, or something.

I won't argue with that. I haven't read them, but I did hear they were pretty atrociously written. I could find out for myself, but I won't.

My sister is almost a teenager, and she loves to read. My mom and I let her read whatever she wants. As far as we're concerned, as long as sh'es reading, we're happy.

I had some plain pine shelves and decided that a waxed finish would look better, so have been rubbing them with Antique Pine wax. They look a lot better and the house smells of polish. And I'm developing biceps.

I just came back from Borders. Good thing (for them) it was busy. Bad thing (for me) I had a splitting headache. Stupid children running around everywhere.

When I was leaving, I saw this 10-12 year old girl with her mom and brother. The girl seriously had like 100 rat nests in her hair. It was disgusting. I can't believe people let their kids out of the house like that. I really really really wanted to say something (well I said something under my breath, but I don't think they heard me).

Picked up Rebecca and grabbed a copy of Ghost Story for my mom. Neither books are available as ebooks.
