You can also try the Smart Bitches Trashy Books (SBTB) blog. They have a weekly feature called HABO where readers send in requests to identify romances. They have a huge readership and are fairly successful at identifying books. You have a lot of details so someone there is likely to recognize it.

Sorry library addict, I didn't explain myself very well. The three books are still available for download - they were not the Christmas Countdown special. And I copied the special that was listed that day.

I understand. IIRC the sale that day was actually a coupon code and you could then also download the 3 books. So it makes sense that they're still listed as freebies.

If they weren't in PDF format I'd probably pick up the other two, but I want ePub format. I miss the days they used to allow you to download in ePub, Mobi, or PDF. At least the sales at their site are in ePub.

I took advantage of that 3 for 2 deal early in Harlequin's countdown to pick up two of those discount omnibuses which were only on sale at the beginning of December, and the My Rewards points were only credited for the dollar amount of the 2 books paid for. I imagine BOGO works the same, but a straightforward 50% off might possibly credit the full retail cost of the books.

Thank you everyone and Blossom you are right. I read it a few years ago and it only had a check mark instead of a date read.

Somehow I didn't realize it was a Hannah Howell book. I had read a few random authors around that time.

It was just driving me buggy trying to remember the title and author!
