Aluminum and tin foil are not the same thing. Aluminum foil is made from aluminum. Tin foil is made from tin. Aluminum foil is more common because it is cheaper.

How silly are you going to feel when you find out that it is only tin's particular electron configuration that blocks Amazon's mind rays? Who will be laughing then, huh?

Why do we have the same topic running on two threads at the same time?

You don't?
We currently use a Toaster oven (avoids heating the monster in the kitchen) , but we keep the Wide slot (bagel) toaster in the garage (that one really does a better job on Bagels, but our counter is small).
We also had 2 Waffle irons until the 40YO ones cord flamed (turned out un-repairable), breakfast was only delayed

I think in the original post in the first thread asked the question, "Do you have more than one eReader?" In the second thread it was "Why do you have more than one eReader?" But I think the real reason we have two threads on multiple eReaders is that we just can't get enough of them.

It looks like dentists have some reason to buy real tinfoil. I don't know why.

https://www.net32.com/ec/tinfoil-001-1-pound-d-88960

The one comment about this tinfoil is that it is "... fantastic for high resolution casting of violin family instruments."

Since I don't really know what that means, it doesn't help much.

I can vouch for this. I don't like Helvetica (personally) but it is the one font that I would use at the 0 bold setting. Palatino is the font I mostly use and I set that at Bold Setting 2. Any bolder and Palatino starts really losing its shape.

Why would anyone need the front light up high when the light is good enough to read without the front light on?

Even in a brightly lit room, you can see when the front light is on. It makes the screen more contrast-y. So they have a reason, even if I do agree you could get by with the light off.

On my Kobo I have the light set somewhere around 25-30% and out of sheer laziness, I don't adjust it however bright the lights are. But even in a bright room, I can tell if the light is on or off.
