They will build the higher memory versions if there is a market for it. I think they will try out how the 32 GB works and decide later.

That is what I like to avoid, the size makes it difficult on a tiny Japanese desk.

A "pendrive" (USB MSD) seems comparable to me in size, in practical terms, to the SSD... The effort - unmount, remove etc. - also comparable.
(Not trying to sell fridges to esquimos but) you also get a backup with the process.

But even wireless data transfer would be pretty quick, so your desk would get busy for a handful of seconds. I guess you could do it from your usual "tablet rest place", where you put it after removing the mSD.

I probably did not fully understand what you meant.

I am not saying I like the idea of not having the MicroSD, I only mean that there can be workarounds on this specific issue.

Thanks for sharing. Somebody here said the release date for the note is December, max 2 pro has already been released a few weeks ago.

Oh, I'm fully aware that there are workarounds, part of the pain with a pen drive is that you need one with dual ports, a micro USB for the Max with a USB-A for the desktop. It all boils down to me being lazy and complacent. I've been swapping mSD cards for a while and I just like being able to do it the way I have been doing it.

Actually, you just keep a short cable adapter (micro USB <-> USB-A) handy. I always carry one.

Then you are lucky: new habits will just replace the past ones. Provided, of course, the new solutions are equal or better; I think I see a few.

You can use the cloud to store and retrieve data, maybe not in all applications but for pdfs etc using google drive will work.

Forgive my ignorance - this probably has been answered in a different thread, but couldn't find though I searched.
If you make annotations/notes in a pdf on the boox max (max carta, max 2), do they get saved in the pdf (i.e. I then have a pdf containing the original and the annotations)?
Do they get saved in the "standard" annotations format that can be viewed on a PC by Acrobat, FoxIt or other PDF readers?

Good idea. Should not Android 6 be multiwindow?
Double page for a PDF file: you can use Librera.
Different PDF files side by side, there should be an Android function for the user.
