Heads up! Some prices have changed. The Kindle First titles this month were at $7.47 for the matching Audible book, but now they're at $1.99 for the preorder. A couple other books I had on my Audible wish list also dropped to a $1.99 Whispersync price.

I post the Whispersync pairs for Kindle for Samsung because they were available during the promo. I didn't do Kindle First because the audiobooks didn't show until the following month, so I eventually quit looking. Looks like I can post those deals now.

Thanks! As of now, the Whispersyncs on my wishlist are steady at $7.49, but I'll keep an eye on them and my fingers crossed. No shillyshallying this time around - if the prices go down, I'll bite.

I've listened to both of these, thanks to Overdrive.

I had high hopes for The Last Place You Look, but it was a flop. I hated the protagonist, who was a mess of problems and insecurities and not someone I wanted to spend time with.

I like Marian Babson's various cat mysteries, and listed to The Twelve Deaths of Christmas (also a mystery) last holiday season. No focus on kitties in this one, but it's a quick, painless mystery. It's not the one I'd choose as an intro to Babson, as it lacks the charm and quirkiness of her cat books.
