Note that, according to the review, this is a 5-part “serial”, now being published as a single volume, not 5 separate books.

I think it means that it’s not a 5-book omnibus, but a single book that was originally published as 5 “episodes”. Ie the usual money-making scam for KU.

Oh well, I've already purchased it.

Looking at the author's page on Amazon, there are definitely more than five parts. The length of each one seems to vary, the first one shows as 186 pages, but the omnibus is a whole 427 pages, so they certainly aren't all that long. Part six shows as 93 pages, and has this tidbit:

"Episode six of a time travel Mystery that spans ten volumes and many adventures of a people who can shift through time or space, but not both at the same time."

So this is approximately half of the whole thing.

The sound good, but they’re £4 each on Amazon UK, which is over the top for me for an unknown self-published author. I’ll keep an eye out for a sale, though.
