A little issue with titles in the book details section
Hi:
I just found, I guess, a little issue, nothing seriously, but something that I think it's better change or modify. After I create a custom column, and use it to show data in the section "Book details", the title that I setted the custom column, shows at the middle of the cell, and all the data I included in that column, is show with top align. The problem is that it's confuse to read the data, because, as I show in the capture, If I put 2 columns with long data, it's very difficult to determine which data belongs to each cell. ![]() ![]() Perhaps somebody tell "that's not a big deal" but, like a web designer, if there is not any kind of division, it's very difficult to read the data. If the title would be put top align, or if a division was included, reading would be more confortable. In my opinion, the best way is including a division. Well thats all. I hope I explained myself clear. Best regards from Lima, Perú Blessings P.S. How do you rate my grammar? I ask them why I have been practicing and I think I have improved, but I do not want to be very excited. |

@mariaclaudia - now you can have both. A draw horizontal line tool was added to the comments editor quite recently, see attached images.
Re your grammar - it's always been better than some Anglophones - no names, no pack drill ![]() Curious - do you use a translate tool? My impression is that you don't, because your posts seem to have a particular idiosyncratic style. BR |

About the note option, I knew about it, but I was referring about also custom columns and/or regular columns. Again, I'm not sure if I do not understand your comment or I did not explained myself clear. If it's the last, please excuse me. Finally, thanks about my grammar, I'm feel very happy. And I use Google Translator too, but not only for translate from spanish to english, by example, right now I write in my own english and check the translation in spanish, so I check if I really use also the right words and sintaxis. Occasionally I use GT to check specific verbs or expressions. Thanks for the answers Regards from Lima, Perú Have a nice halloween Blessings |

@mariaclaudia - yes Kovid's changes will be in the next release.
I assumed (because of the amount of text) your custom columns were long text (like comments) with heading on the side and HTML code. I have some long text columns that look very similar - i.e. lots of blue links to external resources, and heading on the side. But from what you wrote above I'm guessing they may be tag/author like. I do what you do, I try to write in say French and then translate back to English to check - I often get gibberlish. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 10-31-2017 at 08:03 AM. |

The custom columns I refer, I use it to set author prizes and book prizes, like Nobel, Principe de Asturias, for the first, and Pulitzer and others for the second one.
However, the tag column some times es filling with many tags, it's depend the kind of book or the metatag. I understand that some designers like to center every titles, I do some times, but in my case, i confess i'm a little obsessive compulsive with some things. That's all |
