Add new metadata source
Hi
How can I add a new metadata source to be used in the "Download metadata" function under "Edit metadata"? I regularly consult a number of online catalogues: my university library (yorsearch.york.ac.uk), worldcat.org and explore.bl.uk, but I cannot see how to add these to the source list. Also, or alternatively, can I import bibliographic metadata in a standard format, e.g. BibTeX or RIS? Apologies if this has been answered already but I cannot find the posting if it has... Thanks, Richard |

You need to install the Metadata Source plugins (if they are listed in Get Plugins) for the desired sites, or configure (enable) them if they already appear on
Preferences:Metadata Download (this is also where you can fine tune your metadata choices) If the PI does not exist, you could write (or con someone) into writing them. There is a FAQ entry on plugin development. |
