Question re AC Charger

Hello, I have just bought the PRS-505 and was reading through the posts here. I noticed that most people use a PSP charger for AC charging.

I am wondering however if any charger with these specifications will work:
Output: DC 5V 1A

I would recommend just sticking with a PSP charger. We know they work. Anything with a miniUSB end will actually drain the batteries (blackberry chargers, etc).

Just sticking with the USB charger via the PC, how much time does charging take?

I think at the most two hours? Wait until the red light next to the slider goes off, then it is fully charged.

The bonus with the AC charger is that it charges faster, AND you can read while it is charging. I snagged mine (and it was the Sony brand, not another maker) at Target on clearance for $8. You can usually find them for 12-16 though.
