What would be way more useful to me than audible is pocket integration. I know I can use a service or go through calibre but to just have it built in would be awesome. Amazon doesn't own pocket so I guess there's not much chance of it happening :/

I would like this too. I'd be much more likely actually to read the numerous articles I save for proper perusal later if I could do so on an e-ink screen.

You can use the send to kindle browser plugins for similar functionality.

They want integration with Pocket on Kindle, like Kobo has on (some of?) their ereaders. Almost certainly it will not happen on Kindle.

This is tempting. I did not like the first oasis, it was lacking waterproofing which is important for me and I was not crazy about the design but now I have gotten used to it. 7" is great news, as is the fully integrated battery. I have had the new device (in its 32GB version of course) in and out of my cart several times since this thread started, and I am badly tempted, but I really cannot justify the price for now.

Xmas, that's another thing maybe, but being very happy with my Voyage and my Tolino Vision 4, I am not sure. I also own an Aura one which I love but which, due to its size, I end up never taking with me anywhere and I am afraid that's exactly what would happen with the New Oasis too.

Nevertheless, Congrats to those who ordered and please share the joy upon receiving your new toy and keep us posted on your first impressions ! I am especially interested to know how it works for someone with small hands.

I have very small hands and I wear Children's gloves so I'll be sure to post how I find it.

Probably not since the memory was added for audible books, which Google also owns. They weren't really planning on your having almost 10 million books on your device.

Yes, that is what I think, I have the Aura H2O and never take it out of the house due to the size.

What I really want is a water resistant Voyage. Yes I love to read on a larger screen, but I don't love hauling it around in my bag.
