Over $400 with the 32gb, wifi + cellular option.. add in the leather cover..

There's no way I can justify this cost. I just don't need it.

I guess it's a good thing I don't rely on cost justification and need when it comes to my e-reader obsession.

Can't wait for delivery day!

Huh... 7" is a bit too big for my pocket. And it is not saying anything about faster processor being used.

Anyway, will wait and see the comments from the users before I place my order.

I had a Kobo H2O and a Kindle Voyage. And I decided to keep the voyage because H2O is too big and heavy.

Personally, I really hope that Kindle could release a faster device than a bigger device.

I very much doubt it: that's a Kobo trademark.

You can read the manual yourself and see what it will or won't do. It's here.

I didn't forget. I was just mentioning as no pocket sized as one of the features.

While many won't use the waterproofing, it does give piece of mind.

thank you. I found this: "Nightlight: Gradually decreases screen brightness over time as your eyes adjust to the dark."

In practice, this has not turned out to be a problem. I've dropped mine quite a lot -- a lot of plastic chipping, but everything else is fine. (This *is* a little troublesome because it makes it less pleasant to hold. Why they couldn't have used slightly tougher plastic rather than something with the approximate strength of eggshell, or just eschewed a thin outer layer entirely, I have no idea. Was it just for the looks?)

Having fallen out of the ebook tech loop (just reading, silly me)

Is there a new screen tech coming "soon"? I really like the look of this, but see that it still uses Carta that has been around a while now. Any big leaps coming that i could wait for?
