So Peter V. Brett's Demon Cycle is on my list of stuff to read. The final book in the 5 book series just came out.
Amazon US has a bundle of the first 4 books for $24.99 whereas if you buy the 4 books separately it would total $35. https://www.amazon.com/Demon-Cycle-4...rds=warded+man |

I've bought stuff from at least a dozen different retailers over the years, so I have to religiously download everything and add it to Calibre. Even then, I've managed to miss a couple.

Yes, me too bg. And Amazon France, UK, and USA. Not to mention fictionwise, all of which I will have thanks to calibre.
And thanks to calibre companion, too! Reading books now that I bought ten years and more ago, but only once. |

Be careful with that feature; I have found out that it does not always work. I do not know why, but more than once it has not advised me on something I had already bought. It might be due to something being in a different edition ? Even then it should tell me, but I have found out it does not always do it.

All it is guaranteed to do is check the ASIN (ISBN for a pbook) against previous purchases. So a reissue, hc, tpb, mmpb, omnibus are all 'different' as is a purchase from a different Amazon. The system did catch a title change that retained the same ASIN. |

Nimisha's Ship by Anne McCaffrey is currently $1.99 in the US
https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/nimisha-s-ship https://www.amazon.com/Nimishas-Ship.../dp/B000FBFM2A On Vega III, where the jaded inhabitants pursue lives of malicious intrigue and decadent pleasure, Lady Nimisha Boynton-Rondymense has always been an anomaly. Disdainful of the frivolity of her fellows, she prefers the exciting and challenging world of her father, Lord Tionel, owner and principal starship designer of the famous Rondymense shipyards. Precociously gifted, Nimisha becomes Lord Tionel's secret assistant--and, in the aftermath of a shocking tragedy, his chosen successor at the helm of the shipyards. But supplanting her father's designated body-heir, the callow Lord Vestrin, is a slight that Vestrin and his mother, Lady Vescuya, will not easily forget. Or forgive. Preoccupied with carrying on her father's ambitious plans for the Mark 5, an experimental long-distance cruiser, Nimisha dangerously disregards Vestrin's animosity--until a solo test flight of the Mark 5 goes horribly awry, marooning Nimisha light-years from home on a planet as deadly as it is beautiful. Now, Vestrin and Vescuya are given the chance they've been waiting for: to reclaim the shipyards . . . by any means necessary. Only Nimisha's child, Cuiva--a girl every bit as ingenious as her mother--stands in their way. But for how long? For just when her daughter needs her most, Nimisha is unable to help--and in a precarious situation herself. But Nimisha has never given up in her life--and she's not about to start now . . . |

The Hidden Masters of Marandur by Jack Campbell (The Pillars of Reality #2) is currently 99c
Book 1 of this series was previously discounted https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/the...rs-of-marandur The second book of the exciting Pillars of Reality epic fantasy series, by New York Times bestselling author Jack Campbell! Someone wants to kill Mari, a young steam mechanic in the guild that controls all technology. She has learned that her world of Dematr is headed for a catastrophe that will destroy civilization and that mages really can alter reality for short periods. Someone also wants to kill Alain, a young mage who has learned that mechanics are not frauds, as his guild teaches, and that mechanic Mari is the only person who can prevent the oncoming disaster. Narrowly escaping death, the mechanic and the mage stay alive thanks to their combined skills, an alliance never before seen. But it becomes clear that both of their guilds, the most powerful forces in the world, are trying to destroy them. Other powers, like the great empire and a mysterious secret order, also seek to kill or capture them using every weapon from imperial legions to mage-created trolls, dragons, and rocs. Trying to survive and learn the truth about their world so they will know how to save it, Mari and Alain realize the answers they seek may lie in the dead city of Marandur. But Marandur is guarded by the legions that have sealed it off from the rest of the world for more than a century. Mari and Alain's only hope may rest with the unseen masters of Marandur. |

Again! I get woken up. Some punk playing music. I find this dude playing a lute on Amazon.com.
R. A. MacAvoy The Damiano Trilogy for $2.99. I tossed that dang lute into the fireplace. Later, the Italian dude sued me. The judge ruled against me but only awarded $2. Jim Butcher Proven Guilty (The Dresden Files, Book 8) at $1.99. It was worth it. Last edited by Fluribus; 10-10-2017 at 10:56 PM. |

I'm showing a price of $2.51, rather than the $2.99 I would rather it be $2.99. I don't like odd prices. Fortunately, I already own this, so I don't have to worry about these odd prices. |
