The same for row1col2: Initially the zone is empty (only one book ongoing), I open two more books (the zone disappears), I mark two books as "Not started" and Top Picks appear there.

The patch `row1col2-test` works well for me it remove the author collection from row one, and it show and open other books, can you test it again.

At least one good thing come out of it, I find the way to remove the footer.

I didn't understated what exactly is the strange behavior, but I glad it works.

The new patch doesn't have the remove of row1col2 so it should have the recommendations.
If recommendations is showing, I will add it to the patch.
