Oh yeah - I should have mentioned to you that the Coolth was coming. Our heat broke a day or two ago, and it always goes on eastward from there....

Temperatures peaked briefly in the low 60s (F). It was heavily overcast and breezy, but the rains skirted past us. I had a mug of tea on the deck and was pretty comfortable in an insulated vest -- first really cool afternoon of the season.

It was a GLORIOUS 52 F this morning when we went for our jog. High of 74 predicted. I definitely dare dream of autumn.

This afternoon on the deck the temps were in the low 60s with a nice breeze and not a cloud in the sky. The forecast says we'll be getting more of the same for the rest of the week. This isn't bad!

Wet and windy. We have our second autumn storm. Which means that it has been raining, mostly drizzling, since last night and it's very windy. The persistent rain should be about over, though we will still get some showers during the day. It's also chilly at 14C.

One of those days you just want to curl up with a book under a blanket with a cup of tea and forget the outside world.

We hit the low 80s today. It was overcast, humid and breezy. More of the same is expected for Friday.

We're expecting rain on Monday and Tuesday, and we're about due for a soaking.
