Ok, so it is the same as usual. I thought that this one was specifically incompatible with the Mini.

I sideloaded this firmware to my Glo, it is working okay. A few things I noticed that haven't been mentioned above: Downloading from DropBox desktop is working again. (Downloading from DropBox mobile still doesn't work.) The books list view displays the book's subtitle in a smaller font on a separate line, like the series title/index. (Previously it displayed inline with the title, separated by a dash.) There is a new(?) option "Swipe left edge to adjust brightness" in Settings > Reading settings. (I think this option could only be set by editing the config file in previous versions, unless I just didn't notice it.) The screen doesn't refresh properly after using the dictionary or highlighting. This had been fixed in the previous firmware version 4.5.9587, now broken again. I don't much like the additions to the books list: The "Go to page" button and "..." menus beside each book just clutter up the display to no purpose, these functions could already be accessed by tapping the page number or long-pressing the book title. The other book information is now squashed up to make room for the useless "..." button. (see screenshot from my Glo below.) |

After updating my KA1 all my books result to be cut for the last character of each line. Did I do something wrong? For the rest everything is ok |

Are you reading kepub full screen? If so, it's because of the bugs in full screen and you don't have the patches to fix this.

I'm hoping this version firmware won't be difficult to create the patches for.

I'm not using the fullscreen mode, I guess I have to wait for the patch. This happens to all my books which before the update didn't present the problem

Dang! Some of these changes are tempting. Do I give up the old home page to get them?

I do notice some things seem a bit sluggish like going to home screen from within a book. A problem I had on searching within a book has gone in this firmware. | |
