I just really hope they make a larger screen (7-8 inches) Kindle soon!
With USB-C, and adaptive lighting, yellow night light, and some form of page buttons...

My guess is that if Amazon was to make a larger screen Kindle, it would be 6.8" and no USB-C.

How many computers (other than Macs?) have a USB-C port? I've never seen one.

But i don't see it for the kindle. It only make a faster connection, that is not "important" in kindle to transfer files.

I'd rather prefer a night mode, and waterproof one.

Does it matter? Many new phones and gadgets come with a USB C port. They also come with a cable that plugs into USB A chargers. There's no reason not to have it.
But I agree. Night mode and perhaps being water proof are more widely appealing. It's just that on the gadget side, USB C is really unobtrusive.

That's not true. Maybe in the desktop market, but the server market is more conservative. Most new Intel server-class motherboards do not come with USB-C, for instance (but they have several USB-3 ports).

Perhaps in two or three years, then, it would be appropriate to release a reader with a USB-C port, but not now.
